Since June 2003 we have been offering only conventional wine. We have encountered too many obstacles in the current honey market, and problems with enough sources of fruit for juicing. We will be making the wine with uncertified honey and at times a mix of certified and uncertified blackberries and cranberries. We remain strongly committed to making our wine with no sulfites and using the same ecological procedures that we used for our organic winemaking. It is worth mentioning that blackberries and elderberries are "low input" crops: they generally require no or much less pesticides than other crops.
